Full Circle Debate: The sharing economy is not about sharing!

Economic and Financial Affairs
Date: Thursday, 08 March 2018 19:00 - 22:00

Venue: BOZAR  |  City: Bruxelles, Belgium

FULL CIRCLE DEBATE in co-production with BOZAR

LET’S GET REAL: THE SHARING ECONOMY IS NOT ABOUT SHARING!
Full Circle teams up with BOZAR to bring to Brussels a new compelling and thought-provoking debate series on some of the most controversial issues of our time. This first debate tackles the gripping controversy on the relative merits and effectiveness of the sharing economy in today’s society. Does the sharing economy represent a truly counter-cultural movement that will help us transition away from a collapsed economic system, or is it just business as usual in disguise?

Two teams of two speakers will take to the floor for strictly timed interventions in an effort to convince the audience of their position for or against the motion that ‘the sharing economy is not about sharing’. The audience will vote at the start and end of the debate and one of the teams will be declared the winner. The audience can ask questions and make their own points throughout the debate which will take place in English.
