Filling the 'impact' investment gap

The conference will share experiences from the European Commission and the World Bank on how social enterprises can contribute to the pursuit of SDGs, by moving the barriers of social and financial inclusion, and filling the 'impact' investment gap in an economy. Furthermore, presentations shall elaborate on framework conditions and capacity building/services ecosystems in order to support such undertakings, address structural and perceived risks, and allow them to find their place in the development cooperation strategies. Finally, the result of the expert group on European Union's priority actions and strategy for the social economy and social enterprises including its international dimensions shall be presented.
