11.00: Introduction by Mady Delvaux, S&D MEP, rapporteur of the report on Civil law rules on robotics.

11.10 : Fabrice Goffin & Tommy Deblieck, co-CEOs of Zora Bots, first company to deploy humanoid robots in healthcare (BE). Steps & advancements of robotics in healthcare, in tourism and retail. After Be2Be, robots are coming in mainstream market. The robot of the future may be the robot that you won’t see: the virtual buttler. 

11.30 : Tony Belpaeme, Professor of Cognitive Systems and Robotics at Plymouth University (UK). What  studies teach us about the acceptance and the way people interact with humanoid robots. 

11.45 : Yves Gellie, artist-photographer, author of a socio-anthropological research on interactions between humans and robots (FR). One year of observation, in privacy, close to a new kind of relationship. Close to the Artificial Individual
