Sustainable Finance: What is in for corporates?

Economic, Financial, and Banking Affairs
Date: Thursday, 18 October 2018 14:00 - 19:00

Venue: Salle des Guichets - BIP, Rue Royale 2 - 1000 Bruxelles  |  City: Bruxelles

AFEP (French Association of Large Companies) has the pleasure to invite you to its conference Sustainable Finance: What’s in for corporates?

So far, sustainable finance has mainly been debated within the financial sector. Whilst sustainable finance could become a useful tool to reorient capital flows towards sustainable investment, the greening of the real economy can only be achieved in cooperation with corporates. With this conference, AFEP wishes to foster dialogue between corporates and policy-makers, investors, and other stakeholders to make sure that the Commission Action Plan actually delivers results.

Our conference will include two roundtable discussions: the first one focusses on the Commission Action Plan, the second one addresses the analysis and reporting of climate risks.

Reserve your place: Register here (http://www.afep.com/evenements/sustainable-finance-what-is-in-for-corporates/#form-inscription)

Conference registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

With the participation of:

Olivier Guersent, Director General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union, European Commission

Mauro Petriccione, Director General for Climate Action, European Commission

MEPs, investors and representatives of environmental associations will also take part in the discussions.
