European Technology Evaluation Workshop

Background:
In Clean Sky, we set up a platform to assess the technologies developed in our programme against Environmental objective (CO2, NOx and Noise).

In the Clean Sky 2 programme, we plan to extend the assessment to other metrics, including competitiveness, mobility, connectivity and socio-economics.

Scope:

Review ways of working in Europe for technology assessment (process, metrics, etc.)
Lessons learned from previous projects (XNoise, Forum AE, AGAPE, OPTICS, etc.)
Promote a common understanding of socio-eco metrics and methods (e.g. competitiveness)
Promote a wider scope of assessments where beneficial for Europe (cf. climate change, LAQ)
