100 years on: A literary and historical evocation of World War I

Education and Culture
Date: Wednesday, 11 July 2018 18:30 - 20:00

Venue: Library Reading Room - Altiero Spinelli Building - ASP 05D - European Parliament  |  City: Bruxelles, Belgium

Contemporary authors writing on conflicts in the 20th century tend to focus much more on World War Two than on World War One. But the memory of WW1, and historical research on that period, are also essential for understanding the integration of the European continent. This event brings together two young authors, one French and one German, in a conversation about their respective books. This event will take place in French, German and English (with interpretation).
