Science Café with Daniel Nývlt

Czech Liaison Office for Research, Development and Innovation (CZELO) and its partners are pleased to announce that the fourteenth Science Café, an unconventional open discussion with scientist, will take place on 18 June 2019 in the Pilsen House in Brussels.

Our guest will be Daniel Nývlt, a recognized scientist in the field of the Quarternary Geology and Glacial Geology. He leads the Czech Antarctic Research Programme and works at the Department of Geography, Faculty of Scienceof the Masaryk University. Daniel Nývlt is also the Principal Investigator of the Czech Polar Research Infrastructure and Head of the Polar-Geo-Lab. He participated in, or led eleven Antarctic and seven Arctic scientific expeditions. The Czech Antarctic Station - Johann Gregor Mendel Station was built on the Northern coast of James Ross Island in the period 2004 - 2006 and it is run by the Masaryk University.

Science Café is jointly organised by the CZELO, Czech Centre Brussels, Representation of the South Moravian Region to the EU, Representation of the Pilsen region in Brussels, Delegation of Prague to the EU and Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Kingdom of Belgium.
