Agriculture and Rural Development
Date: Wednesday, 27 March 2019 08:30 - 18:00

Venue: Scotland House

EARSC, in collaboration with the Directorate General for Agriculture (DG AGRI), is organizing a workshop titled “Digital transformation in agriculture: the role of remote sensing”. The event will take place in Brussels on the 27th of March.

The workshop aims at elaborating on the role of technological innovation in agriculture – with a particular focus on satellite and remote sensing applications – in light of the post 2020 Common Agricultural Policy, recently proposed by the Commission. It will match the points of view of the policy makers, the remote sensing industry and the end-users in order to deliver a comprehensive overview of the opportunities and challenges that the digital transformation poses to the agricultural sector.

Locations:

Scotland House, Brussels

Rond-Point Schuman 6, 1040 Brussels
