Round tables on the green architecture of the CAP

Agriculture and Rural Development
Date: Monday, 12 November 2018

Venue: European Committee of the Regions  |  City: Brussels

The Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural development Phil Hogan, in cooperation with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is organising two round tables on the proposed new environmental and climate architecture of the CAP.

These events will provide an opportunity to discuss how the legal proposals could be implemented to address the objectives and concerns of both agricultural and environmental stakeholders. Their aim is to initiate fruitful conversations between stakeholders to consider how the legal proposals could help farmers achieve the CAP sustainability objectives, in particular a higher level of environment and climate ambition.

These events will bring together around 60 stakeholders and will take place in Brussels.
