Closing the Skills Gap in Europe’s Electronics Manufacturing: How to Prepare the Workforce of Tomorrow

Industry, Enterprise and Single Market
Date: Thursday, 29 November 2018 10:00 - 12:00

Venue: Sofitel Brussels Europe, Place Jourdan 1, 1040

How is the skills gap affecting the electronics industry in Europe? What factors explain the mismatch between workforce needs and availability?  What policy changes are needed at the EU and national level to prepare the workforce of tomorrow? What role can be played by the industry – including companies and trade associations – to address these challenges?

Together, we will attempt to answer these questions at this year’s IPC IMPACT EUROPE on "Closing the Skills Gap in Europe’s Electronics Manufacturing: How to Prepare the Workforce of Tomorrow". The event will bring together policy makers and industry representatives to discuss the existing workforce challenges and share best practices.

Register now and have your voice heard in the discussions with Mrs. Kasia Jurczak from the European Commission, Mr. Jean-Hugues Rodriguez from Airbus and Mr. John Mitchell from IPC. Stay tuned - more speakers to come!
